Weird story cometh...

In our house we have a big ant problem in the summer, right?

So I'm sleepin', I'm sleepin' and the next thing I know, something is in my ear and its crawling around by my eardrum.

So I'm freakin' out and naturally the first thing I think, me being so frikkin' paranoid and all, is that I have an earwig in my ear.

Now, I've seen them things and they are NASTY!!

And so I'm thinkin' I got one in my ear.

Yeah, so I'm still freakin' out and I go find my parents and they wash my ear out, and I'm still freakin' out cuz that thing would not stop moving.

You have no idea what I was going through and you prolly never will unless you exprience it yourself.

So then I'm swabbing around my ear so wax won't obstruct the way if the bug decided to come out, and what do I find?

An ant...

That was in my ear...

On my eardrum...

GAH that was nasty...

And now I sleep with earplugs...

I had a nightmare last night that there were ants traipsing across my bedspread to my ear. It was so real looking that I immediatly woke up, jumped out of bed, turned on the light, and flipped the sheets to find out that I'm going crazy and that I had a dream about ants marching to attack my ear...

So yeah...

Well...

I'm REALLY glad it wasn't an earwig...

I saw Steel Magnolias today. Its a purdy good movie and I liked the way it portrayed all the women, because I know many many many many Southern women who are exactly like them.

The men, however, are not all drunkards who's only intention in life is to get their wife pregnant continuously. I know maybe 2 men like that but that doesn't encompass the entire South.

Geez.

Its finally here and I'm so excited!!!!!

I wasn't able to find a wheelchair fast enough so, since its a minor break in my tib-fib I'm gonna walk around- or limp rather- in a big plastic cast...

Well, I'm wearing a big renaisance dress, so maybe no one will be able to see it. Of course, they'll all be wondering why the fuck I'm hobbling around, but hey...

I think this'll turn out to be a great weekend, except, of course, for the weather...

There's supposed to be a new hurricane hitting around the Jacksonville area (used to live there, glad I don't now). That means a lot of the rain clouds and crap are going to be coming up to Atlanta for Dragon*Con, too!

Fun fun!

As an added plus, I have to walk (short distance, but still) from my hotel to the Con everyday. We walk everywhere so we won't have to worry about parking or anything like that.

One night we'll be eating at Hard Rock (right next to Hooters, ICK), I'm excited about that too... I'm going to go in costume, too, since thats what everyone else does. I'm afraid to see what Hooters looks like on Con weekend...

GAK the rain is already hitting here in McDonough, and its hitting hard...

On the subject of my car wreck...

I was driving alone and I come to an intersection and go through it (I had the green light) and all of a sudden I'm PINNED TO A LIGHT POLE...

Actually before I met 141 the light pole (??) some weird dude (never did get his name) decided that, since no one was coming and he was in a hurry, he'd run the red light...

Well, guess who was coming...

Yup...

Me...

So I'm pinned to a light pole for a few hours, and during this time we've come to know each other very well, the pole and I...

They finally pried me out and got me to the hospital...

So I have a coupla broken ribs and a broken leg and my face got cut by flying glass...

I'm hideous now...

'Course I was never very purdy in the first place...
