Prologue

     Long ago in the land of Okys, there lived three children. The three children went by the names of Spyke, Fait, and Alexis. They lived in the village of Crytal Pine which is located in the center of the Great Crystal Pine Forest. Crystal Pine isn't the only place to visit in the land of Okys, it's only one of the many places in all the land. 

     Spyke, Fait, and Alexis lived in foster care under the watchful eye of a young woman named Esmerelda. Esmerelda took them in after their parents were called upon to join the war against a group of raiders that called themselves the Black Gauntlets. They were called the Black Gauntlets because many of the raiders wore black gloves. They are led by a man that goes by the name of Albatross. No one knows his real name, or much of his past. He is known for his all-white armor and his pet albatross that he has with him at all times. It's name is Finchley. Albatross also wears black gloves to show that he is a member of the Black Gauntlets. He is blind in the left eye due to a dispute against his former partner who is now fighting against him. Albatross is an all around warrior. He has powerful magic abilities, devastating swordsmanship, and bow skills that cannot be matched. Rumors say that he is able to shoot a mosquito off the back of a bucking bull from two-hundred yards away.

     The children knew their parents were in the war but, what they didn't know is that their parents are some of the greatest heroes of all time. That is why their parents left them behind. They played a crucial part in the war against the Black Gauntlets.

     Both of Spyke's parents are powerful spellcasters. His father was once a Black Gauntlet member, a very important member. He was Albatross' right hand man, his partner. He is the man responsible for rendering Albatross blind in the left eye. Albatross had him imprisoned because of his actions. While he was in prison, he met a woman who was also exiled. She was imprisoned because she killed Albatross' former pet, Finch, who was the father of his current pet, Finchley. Spyke's father helped the woman escape and moved into Crystal Pine where they married. Spyke's father is a powerful necromancer and is trained in dark magic, but, he only uses his abilities to fight for good. Spyke's mother is a sorceress trained in healing arts and light magic.

     Fait's parents are both skilled with swords. They both met at the Crystal Pine Warrior Training Academy. Both of them were top students. Fate's father wields a large heavy obsidian greatsword. His mother wields dual light-weight steel katanas. Their swords were forged in the fires of Mt. Erif by the best swordmaker in all the land, a dwarf named Gilo. Fait's father isn't very fast, but he makes up for it with powerful strikes from his sword. He can take down a crystal pine tree with one slash.(Crystal wood is one of the strongest materials in the land.) Fait's mother is quick. She fights like a samurai which is very rare. Not many people can go through samurai training easily. She was different from all the other students. As a team, Fait's parents are somewhat unmatched.

     There isn't much information on Alexis' family. The whereabouts of her father are unknown. Spyke and Fate's parents found Alexis' mother unconcious just outside of Crystal Pine. She was pregnant with Alexis when she was found. When she awoke she went into labor and Alexis was born. She remembered being trained to fight. She was trained as an assasin and her skills helped a lot in the war. She is very skilled as a quick and agile assasin. She once killed twenty-four Black Gauntlet raiders in just under five minutes.

A little bit of Ch. 1

Everything was blurry, but you could make out where the sky and the ground was. Slowly, the view came into focus. Up ahead, it was clear that there is a large, two-story bulding. After looking for a few seconds you realize that there is a whole village behind this building. The other buildings are in flames.

Out of nowhere, a large, muscular, slightly handsome man came into focus in front of the building. He wore torn brown clothing, and he had a small grey beard. He shouted,

"Spyke!! Are you all ri-..."

Suddenly, the man's eyes rolled back and his jaw dropped. He fell to the side and hit the ground hard. He lay there, face down, and in his back stuck a long black arrow near the center of his back. Now, the white building is in focus again. but now....it is in flames. Thick, heavy, black smoke arose from the burning building. At the base of the building, armored orcs, men, elves, and well....warriors of all races were bashing at the building with clubs, swords, torches, and even their fists. The building began to rumble and shake, the orcs and men retreated away from the building. And soon enough, it collapsed. As it fell, a thick cloud of smoke, debris, and ash was kicked up. Seconds later, a figure appeared in the dark cloud. It seemed to be walking, and it began to get closer. The closer it got, the clearer it got. It was obvious now that it was a man. He was dressed in black robes, and in his hand, he held a longbow. A large white bird sat on his shoulder and released a horrid screech. The man wore his hood up, and a shadow was cast over his face.

The man in the brown clothing grunted. He began to get up. Struggling, he tried to get on his two feet. He was almost standing straight up, then all of a sudden the robed man's bird screeched again, and he shot two more black arrows into the back of the man dressed in brown. One arrow hit near his neck. The other, a couple centimeters away from where the first arrow struck. Once again, the man hit the ground. Harder than the first time. He lay there. Lifeless. In a pool of his own blood.

"NO!" Spyke opened his eyes and found that he was sitting in straight up in his bed. He sighed

"It was only a dream...", he thought.

Fait and Alexis were standing at the opposite sides of his bed and stared at him puzzled.

"No?" Said Alexis,"I though today was your birthday."
"What are you talking about?" Asked Spyke,"It is..."
"Then, why'd you yell no at me when I said Happy birthday?"
"Oh, I didn't hear you, sorry."
"Then, why'd you yell no?" Asked Fait curiosly.
"Oh, I...uh...was having a nightmare." Stammered Spyke.
"About?" asked Alexis.
"Nah, it's nothing."
"Come on tell me! Please?!"
"It's nothing!" Said Spyke loudly feeling a bit annoyed.
Fait interupted,"Alexis! He doesn't want to tell you, just leave him alone." He said. "Anyways, we got some good news!"
"What is it?" asked Spyke.
"Esmerelda went into the forest to gather Crystal berries!!" Shouted Alexis with glee.
"Really?! Why?!" asked Spyke.
"Duh, for today.." said Alexis.
"Whats happening today?"

Fait and Alexis stared at him blankly, then Fait shouted,"Are you stupid?! Think Spyke think!! What started your little argument with Alexis?"
"Umm, my nightmare?" said Spyke, a little confused.
"Your birthday you tard!" Shouted Alexis laughing hysterically at Spyke's stupidity. Fait also began to laugh.
"Oh yeah.." said Spyke blushing. Then, a few seconds later, he bagan to laugh as well.
"She told us not to tell you this, but we were too excited and told you anyway." said Fait.
"She's going to make you a Crystal Berry birthday pie!" shouted Alexis.
"Wow, I havent had a crystal berry in so long" said Spyke. He began to remember the taste of the crystal berries. His mouth began to water at the sweet, sweet taste of the berries.
"Mmm, I could almost taste one." said Spyke.

Spyke then began thinking of the dream again.
"I wonder what it meant.." he said under his breath.
"What was that?" asked Alexis.
"Huh? Oh nothing...I'm bored let's play outside until Esmerelda comes back."

He jumped out of his bed and threw on a top, tunic, pants, and his shoes and said,"Let's go!"

     My guestbook was full of over 200 spam.  It took me a long time to click all the little checkboxes, then scroll all the way back up to the top and click delete.

     Anyways.  Nothing going on in life at the moment.  The Sims 2 has taken my life from me pretty much.  Haha.  Oh yeah, my mom bought some new DVD's and me and my bro were watching them.  She bought Brokeback Mountain, and I knew it was about gay cowboys, thats why I never watched it before.  Since my mom bought the DVD I thought,"What the hell?  I own it, might as well watch it.  Critics say it was a good movie."  Well, I watched it.....and......the movie rendered me speechless.  Speechless not because the movie was good, because the movie was scary.  Not Scary like a horror movie, scary because.....well....you watch it....

     I finally got The Sims 2.  Lol, I know it's been out for awhile now, but I never had a chamce to get it.  But now, I finally have it and it makes me happy.  Lol.  I just got it yesterday and I played it all night last night.  I didn't go to sleep.  What an awesome game.

Well Hey hey everyone.  I have returned to Dragid.  Anyone miss me?  Haha.  Well, if you're interested, here's an update on my life.

-Got a haircut.  The long hair is now Spikes. (see gallery)

-Had one other girlfriend since the last time I posted.

-Thats over now.

-I am currently not wearing pants.

-You probably didn't need to know that.

-The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe is my favorite movie.  I've seen it over 40 times, and yes I know thats a little obsessive.

-I am writing a story which hopefully I might get published and turned into a book.

-I'll have some of that posted up if some of you want to check that out.

So yeah.  I'm back.  I shall welcome myself back to Dragid once again.

Yes....it's over now.............there's nothing I could do about it.  Wow.......I didn't think I'd ever lose her.......I thought I'd have her forever..........I guess I was wrong......damn......I hate this.  I love Mary.  She says she still loves me.....I believe her.  She just doesn't want a boyfriend right now......I had no way of stopping her.  I tried so hard, but I lost.......I give up...

Dammit..........Mary's been depressed lately and her mom has noticed.  Her mom told her to take a break from everything for awhile.  Well guess what......I'm part of that "everything" .  I don't see how the hell this is gonna help Mary in any way.  Taking her away from me is not gonna make her any happier......  I decided to stay home today cuz I'm not very happy right now.  When I asked my mom if I could stay home she asked why and I couldn't give her a reason.....Now I'm here at home and I can't stop thinking of Mary.........She told me that if she gets better in a week or two we can go back out again.....

    I'll be waiting.......I'll wait as long as I can for her because I  love her......
